Gads… not again, not another “proposition 8” style of maneuver... :(

The Maine bigots hired the same publicity firm the California bigots employed to fight marriage equality, and look what they’ve up and done. I guess bigot activists have nailed down a strategy that is working, at least until a few more people open their minds.

Well, on the bright side, we have made wide strides in equality in just a few years. Once you’ve gotten a taste of what equality is like, you can’t be so easily driven back to your corner. Maybe someday the referendums and laws striking down marriage equality will be looked at in the same light that we see the “Jim Crow” laws today.

Until we have real separation of church and state will have to keep fighting .
The reason separation of church and state was introduce in the constitution was because the father of country being in France saw the destruction of war with the Protestant and the Catholic all over Europe which in those days where more powerful than the King ,God help us if we go back to that .
