Iran is permitting a woman to marry a trans man.
A couple of months ago, I saw this article about two teens that were hung for the "crime" of homosexuality in Iran.

It's interesting to me that Islamic law finds trans people religiously OK, but applies the death penalty to homosexuality.
Iran's attitudes are a contrast to those in the U.S, where I tend to think trans people have a harder time gaining acceptance than lesbians and gays do.
I am grateful that the U.S. is not ruled as strongly by Christian law as Iran is by Islamic law. I don't think Fundamentalist Christians have tolerance for any of us who are trans, gay, lesbian or bi.
