I read an article in USA Today, last week and I sent a letter to the editor in response to it. I received an e-mail saying that they get about 800-1000 letters in a week but if they chose to use mine they would call me. Standard e-mail sent to every…

This group came to Daytona a few months back and I am sorry I did not get to go see them. I would love to be able to talk to these people and hear what they have to say. Unlike most people I want to hear the views of people I disagree with. When I w…

Ms. Kern is right when she says that homosexuals are more dangerous than terrorists. Given enough time homosexuals will help the world to be more understanding and forgiving, terrorists might only kill a few thousand people every now and then. This…

Iowa seems like an unlikely place for a progressive outcome such as this. This should give hope to everyone in other states but the legal system just takes to long when the people take the government to court. It works much faster when the governme…

Profile Information

How did you find us?
I read an article in USA Today about your demonstrating at the Gov's. wedding
I am a middle aged, middle class heterosexual white guy that has just had enough. I am tired of people camouflaging their hatred of others in religion. I, as well as many of my friends, have an alternative life attitude and I am simply not going to allow these arrogant and ignorant people to tell us that we cannot live our lives as we wish.

I am an ordained minister in The Universal Life Church, which some people think is a joke, but I have decided to fight fire with fire and I have started my own religion. I have decided that a person's lifestyle can be a person's religion and if we all have religious freedom then my religion will also be protected from our governments rath.

I support the rights of every person to live their life as they wish with no interference from others, so long as no tangible harm is done to those not participating in said lifestyle.

My church is named The Universal Church of Freedom, Acceptance and Love. It is not about a god, it is about people and the way we choose to celebrate and enjoy our lives. My website is www.universalchurchoflove.com

I've been published, sort of.

I read an article in USA Today, last week and I sent a letter to the editor in response to it. I received an e-mail saying that they get about 800-1000 letters in a week but if they chose to use mine they would call me. Standard e-mail sent to everyone I'm sure. Then Monday afternoon I got a phone call from a lady at USA Today confirming my name and city I live in and ask me if I wrote the letter. She asked me if it was OK to add some information about the article if they decide to use it.

A Short Story

I went down to Fantasy Fest last weekend and had a great time. Some day you NEED to go.

There were thousands of beautiful people there but there was one lady that was very special. I was walking down the street and I saw her standing there next to her husband. She was topless except for the body paint. I just had to ask her if I could get her picture.

The reason that I asked if I could get her picture was that she is a breast cancer survivor and she had a single masectomy and never had the bre… Continue

I hope everyone got to hear our new Pres. today.

I was not planning on listening to the inauguration but the radio station I was listening to had it on. I am happy to say that I was deeply moved. I have always been an emotional person but simple words are not usually enough to move me. Today Pres. Obama's speech choked me up just a little bit. I really don't even remember what he said but I will remember the way he made me feel for the rest of my life.

I do not know what kind of President he will make but today he made me think that at least… Continue

I saw the face of stupidity New Years Eve.

I went down to Miami as I always do and I had a great time but there was a group of people there that tried to ruin it for everyone. Who were these people and just what was it they were doing? They were street evangelists and they were preaching hatred. Mostly they were telling everyone that the "gays" are going to hell. They drew a pretty good crowd but most of the people seemed to be either argueing with them or laughing at them.

I love to argue scripture and it's true meaning with people tha… Continue

Christian Greetings Rev. Ken, it is with great pleasure that I Befriend you. I also am a Clergy Person with an Independent Catholic Church here in Tampa and other areas of the U.S. The fact that you cover all aspects of hatred in this world has really impressed me. Your web site is very informative on your views and I like that.

I can be reached at: revfrjohnrb@aol.com and would like to keep in touch with you if you would like.

Your's in Christ,

Just read your profile. You are right where I am - tired of the hatred, and for what?

Thank you. I always felt that God put my children into my life for me to see them through to adulthood - and that was my job. How little did I know how much I would learn... and grow from the experience.

Hello Rev. Bauer...thanks for the response. I always welcome your words of wisdom. You are a great asset. ... I just felt an emptiness yesterday, as though I was watching a party from outside someone's window. We are not going to get an invitation to this party. If we want to be a part of it, we have pretty much crash it. Thanks for writing
