Respond to Lane DeGregory's article in Sunday's St. Pete Times, (7/26) B Section: "Nun's vision of a village races time" at EveryBless@aol.com; cc Lane DeGregory, too @ degregory@sptimes.com.
This article could have been SO much more interesting if Ms. DeGregory had approached it from the angle:Why not contact the Catholic Church for money; they seem to have unlimited funds when it comes to fighting Marriage Equality! Why not fight to overturn Florida's ban on Gay Adoption? Then maybe some of these foster kids could have real homes.
I sent both an article on how much the Roman Catholic Diocese of Maine has spent so far on overturning Gay Marriage Rights; I'm sure all of you "clicktivists" have your own articles/stats on how the Catholic hierarchy is throwing its funds at denying the GLBT community their rights when they COULD be helping causes like Sister LeBoeuf's New Life Village.
So let the dear Sister (and Lane DeGregory) know: charity begins at home!
